CJ is currently researching the LGBT+ history of the city from 1960 to 2020.
The project is going to be two books released in July 2024 covering people’s memories from 1960-2020 🌸 This covers clubs, pubs, meet up groups, sports, support services, health, Pride…..literally everything and anything.
They’ve been conducting interviews (currently 122ish !) with community members across Nottingham over the past year for inclusion in the book.
Five Leaves Bookshop are set to publish both volumes 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🌸
They’re still looking for more people to interview- in particular women, NB, trans folks! Please get in touch if you’d like to take part, you just need to have memories of Nottingham.
